It’s been a while since I announced the new section on the blog “I design, you choose” where you could decide the best layout for a reform. You were given three options to choose from:

I design you choose

I design you choose

I design you choose

The distribution that you liked the most was the proposal number 1, but the client has chosen a mix of the three (happens very often, but customers need to see the three options) and this is the final scheme:

New distribution floor plans {Plano de la nueva distribución}

As you can see, the final distribution is a combination of the best ideas. The client chose a small entrance with a wardrobe, creating a separation between the living room and the front door. Cabinet construction includes a space to sit (you can use it as cobbler, giving more amplitude), a lattice of glass and wood and recessed shelves behind the closet. Following this style we made a sliding door to separate the living room bedroom, which was integrated into the living room. Before this, it was good for nothing but to store books.

The kitchen was left open, but with a wall of 90 cm to separate the oven from the living room while creating a TV hanging space. The living room, being a busy area, has not been easy to distribute. Adding a small separation between the kitchen and the living room allows us to put the couch just on the opposite wall so you can watch TV.

The dining table will be located in the kitchen as in Proposition 1 and L-shaped kitchen and Proposition 3, but shorter in order to place the table. Finally, the bathroom will be only equipped with a shower as in Proposals 2 and 3.

What do you think of the decisions we have taken over the distribution of the house and design? I want to read your opinion!
